can you run upgrade to 19:

snap refresh nextcloud --channel=master

If it goes well, run this to bring files back:

snap run nextcloud.occ files:scan --all

You will have to create users with the same name as they were before this way they will see their existing files. You can check if files are still on the disk:

du -h --max-depth=1 /data/nextcloud

I have reinstalled the apps.

After that the command: snap run nextcloud.occ files:scan --all

Now I wanted to enter the users and got the following error:

It seems to be a problem of version 19. I uninstalled Nextcloud again and reinstalled it. In version 18 the user settings work. Then the update to 19 and again the problem that you can't access the user settings.

Also for users I would advice to use Users app so they are preserved even if you remove/install Nextcloud.
