Aside from typos, there's one notable omission - outside of Kubernetes/OpenShift, the UI won't run, complaining about missing dependencies. Calling syndesis ui --install --build, as advised in https://syndesis.io/docs/cli/syndesis/, was enough to bootstrap it.
