Should there be a recommended format? Or a set of recommendations based on content (ie talk vs music)?

How to handle offering an episode in multiple formats? Should the feed indicate a preference, or is it left up to the client?

My understanding is that nearly every device that is used for podcast listening has no requirement for MP3, so while MP3 represents the LCD, there could be a more effective HCD that might be worth pushing as the default format (even if there is a method of providing multiple formats, we're likely always going to be stuck with a single enclosure URL)

Mrss allows multiple formats, and has a default preference.

For compatibility I duplicate the default content as the only enclosure, and then have over formats only in a mrss group and content tags.
