Totally! I always try to think how end UI will interact with blockchain when designing storage or extrinsics.

However, sometimes I heard opinions that blockchain should not really care about who and how is going to read its state. And that it's the problem of consumers and their task to do off-chain optimizations in order to provide users of these blockchains good UX.

In general it would be right to design a blockchain without much consideration of the user interface, but that is not the goal of this project. As mentioned, we want to build something relatively fast and very usable, rather than the most efficient, most correct design.

For example, we may index lots of historical data on Synesthesia where a production ready version of this blockchain would not and instead expect the existence of archive services.
