This form will be the skeleton form an inspector will fill out after scanning or inputting an equipment ID.

form instructions!

skeleton for all forms: (will be edited once Tiffany confirms)

style itself should be a ripoff of google forms.

if easier, we can set it up so that the questions for each type of item are in a table, and the form pulls those questions for the item type and then populates the form with them, Along with what kind of answer type (yes no usually, then a write in for what's wrong if its no, and prompt for photo). if not, we can just set up the different kinds of forms that can be edited by the admin to do.

item id on top, along with info as to where it is in the building displayed. should also show an image of the item, if it passed the last inspection --> shouldn't be able to be edited

if a question requires a photo, it can either prompt to take a photo, or what's probably easier which is ask to upload a file, where they take a photo and then add it from their library/gallery. unless told otherwise, assume a photo is only necessary if there's an issue.

when mimicking google forms, it should show up as only one question/item at a time.

"Once perform inspection is selected it should open the inspection report. You should be presented with one task to check (with pictures) at a time followed by questions pertaining to that action."

still unsure what (with pictures) for this means. it might be a diagram of what to do, might be of the actual item, might be they need to take a photo for each question. (will find out soon.)

each question should also have instructions above it on what they need to do to answer the question

"hold the water down for five seconds, find the expiration date on the back of the extinguisher, etc"

still waiting on the list of questions, items, and instructions. hoping to have them by the end of this week, but I genuinely don't know when she'll send them

in regards to submitting the form, it needs to of course have all the questions answered and not let the user move on from a question before answering.

the answer to the final question (did it pass) needs to trigger an email upon submission to be sent out to the correct people. if there's an issue, send to group a, if it passes, to group b. however we currently don't have the list. My current guess is that it will be something that needs to be managed by the admin dashboard, where she can add and remove people from this list as she sees fit. It might also be building specific tho so if that's the case it will also be added to the manager dashboard.

threw the questions for her for the forms into the meetings channel on the discord
