Sound slowed down and there is static in mslug games #2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Use any of the Metal Slug series roms.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to hear a clear sound like the one mame4all-pi produces with mslug 
and mslug2 roms.

What version of the Pi's O/S?
Latest 2013-07-26-wheezy-raspbian with updated fw via rpi-update.

Of course I'm talking about analogue audio.
I use the highest overclocking setting and get around 51fps.
