I'm going to close this issue. However, the setting hasn't been vetted by the caroling group yet. Until then, I'll keep the branch open and will reopen this issue with any necessary changes.
At carolling practice, we noticed that the last 4 bars of John's arrangement,
[V:5][M:4/4] F/F/ F/G/ A/B/ A | F/D/ =E/F/ D D/z/ |
F/D/ E/F/ G/A/ G/z/ | A/F/ G/A/ F F/z/ ||
did not match what many of us, familiar with Steeleye Span's version (from their 1972 album "Below the Salt"), thought it should be. Here's what I came up with to replace John's transcription.
[V:5][M:4/4] G/G/ F/G/ B/A/ G | E/C/ D/E/ C C/z/ |
C/C/ E/F/ G/A/ B | B/G/ A/B/ G G/z/ ||
I changed the credits to read,
C:harmony arrangement John Bromka, 1996
fixed "invinitur" - was missing "t" in score
Not sure if an entire carol in Latin is a good idea or not.
