For me, I don't lose audio completely. It just turns into a garbled noise that is painful to hear. Usually happens once the computer has gone into sleep.
I can usually get the audio back to normal by opening System Preferences -> Sound -> Input. I found that solution totally by accident and I can't tell you the reason why this works, but it just does and it puzzles me. My guess is by opening the sound and going into input panel, it "jump starts" the audio amplifier.
It is also worth noting that I'm running a pretty old revision, 51b2820bfaa5b9212ff3974197d2fd205e90ba4c. This is because any revisions beyond that gives me a ton of errors upon Deploy and I will reboot to a system with non-working WiFi and that is simply unacceptable.
I noticed that after the last Deploy the audio randomly completely just shuts off (volume adjustment does not work) and I will either have to put the laptop to sleep or restart it in order for it to come back. Had anyone experienced the same problems as well?
My current set up is: Dell XPS 13 (9350) QHD+ version. 2.4Ghz Intel Core i5 8gb Ram and 512gb Nvme SSD DW1830 Wi-Fi Card Mac OS X High Sierra 10.13.3 Installed.
