@dudenesspa where's the clover?
syscl
@dudenesspa What specs you have now? What problem you encounter during using deploy.sh?
syscl
I have the 9350 with i7 16GB Ram QHD. The response I received was incidental to my problem which is that I can't get the DW1830 to go higher than 450 Mbps on ac wireless in MacOS while I can get to 1300 Mbps while in windows 10. And handoff is not working. The other issues I think you are still working on are USB-C with hotplugging and thunderbolt 3.
@dudenesspa I do not know why your handoff do not work.
syscl
Ok thank you. Just thought I'd let you know the other part about the duplicate symbol, which I think does relate to deploy.sh.
@dudensspa
Please follow my guide(We have same specs!), use origin Clover from my github, then run deploy.sh.
Enjoy the handoff, syscl
So when you have a website open on your iPhone or iPad near the laptop a little notification shows up on the left side of the dock bar? That's what I use handoff for, not just airdrop.
To use handoff, you need a unique MacBook serial number and UUID. You can go to AppleStore then take a picture from System Report -> Hardware Overview.
The serial number and UUID from my GitHub has been used by a lot of people. Thus you can't pair it correctly.
syscl
use uuidgen in terminal to generate a new UUID that you can use with Clover.
I submitted my clover folder and ioreg on another website to see if I could get help with my DW1830. I got this response: ACPI is not patched correctly. If you attempt to disassemble the files in ACPI/patched (iasl -da -dl *.aml), you'll see: ACPI Error: [S3] Namespace lookup failure, AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20161210/dswload-462) ACPI Exception: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, During name lookup/catalog (20161210/psobject-310) Duplicate symbol, which means one or more SSDTs is being rejected. Fix your ACPI patching before trying anything else.
I used deploy.sh. Any insight? Does this help you?
