it's possible, but closed source: https://www.touch-base.com/
100$ for the driver, but works pretty well (bought it)
@wmchris On my XPS 13 9350 it doesn't work: I downloaded the Elan Touchscreen Version, but It can't find the device, son think that my device PID is not included... or there's something else I can do?
the demo version didnt work for me either. after a direct request i got one which worked.
@wmchris Maybe could u make a fast video about how the touchscreen works with this driver? :) That would be awesome! :D
why a video?! it's a touchscreen. It works exactly like on an ipad with the driver.
A commercial version of driver is now ready and works flawlessly...
Maybe we can collect request here to make a volume purchase? Sincerely, right now I am not ready to pay $200 for it. But if we can gather at least 10+ enthusiasts for this, I hope we can ask for a more personal and not entreprise pricing policy. Everyone willing installing multitouch for its 9350/9360 for a cheaper price can react with a smiley in the top right corner of this post
so we could count how many people are intersted in this.
upd: added link for the 6-day trial version
@nos1609 Can you provide a link for that? The version I have downloaded from the website never worked with my ELAN touchscreen. @nos1609 THANK YOU! :)
@nos1609 You are right, it's AWESOME! Working very very well! I wanna buy this, let's see if we can do something about it, I wouldn't spend more than $50. Edit: if you have been notified about a cost-license post, I'm an idiot. It's a cost-per-license policy, so it's convenient only if we are in 50+. What we can do about this?
Good software, though too expensive.
@nos1609 Since, not only XPS 13 has touch screen, but also, any other models have touch screen, we can advocate more people join us to lower down the license fee.
I am generally an open source guy, and I even plan to create my own kext to power screen's multi fingers up, but I am lack of experience in this area... Wish I can develop a free driver one day.

Any plans to support touchscreen multi-touch gestures or is it flat out not possible ATM?
