Not syncing to blockchain, waiting for funds........

I installed the software only a day or so ago.

Without noticing this problem I have sent funds to my Blockmarket wallet only to find some hours they are still not there.

The Recent Blocks window is not updating. See pic attached.

That version of Blockmarket was deprecated May 2nd and the 2.0 chain was upgraded to version 3.0 Either: a) Wait for Blockmarket 3.0 or b) Upgrade to Syscoin QT

How can that be when it is the latest download on offer and linked to from the Blockchain Foundry website? https://github.com/syscoin/blockmarket-desktop-public/releases

How do you leave that link open and the github page active knowing for well the problems it would cause? So now how are you supposed to be involved in the Coinpayments airdrop without an alias as published, the QT wallet doesn't create aliases does it? I don't need to upgrade to QT, I have it, and obviously it won't have the same wallet address as the Blockmarket one will it?

At the moment I just want to recover my SYS, can I import that wallet address into QT? I guess this explains why my transaction on the explorer shows it being confirmed but the address used from blockmarket not recognised? Unfortunately that medium explanation is very long-winded and complex for effectively what many would want as an upgrade. Adam Withford Live & Studio Engineer

That link is still required by many people to upgrade from BM1 to QT3 or BM3 Yes, QT3 uses the same wallet.dat as BM3 BM3 will be out in time for any airdrops, so alias creation will be very simple.

The upgrade process is simple:

1. Dumpwallet from BM1 or QT2
2. Importwallet into QT3 or BM3

The medium article is written in a very detailed way for the least advanced user.

Ok, thank you I have requested to join slack, but your answer covers most of what I need to know for now. If I get nervous (LOL) I'll have a go at importing the wallet.dat to QT3. I still think you should add a warning to those directed to download BM1. Cheers Adam Withford Live & Studio Engineer
