Mupen64Plus Console User-Interface Version 1.99.5

dlopen('./libmupen64plus.so.2') error: ./libmupen64plus.so.2: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory
AttachCoreLib() Error: failed to find Mupen64Plus Core library

That is the log file I get when I try to boot a rom. I am running the retropie
image and I have looked at countless other forums and tried almost everything I
feel to get it to work but nothing has yet. Also, I am running the 2.0 version
of mupen64plus and the 2.3 version of retropie.

It is not crashing. Just telling you about your broken installation. The UI
cannot work without a valid core (libmupen64plus.so.2). Please install it
correctly.

And when you have problem with retropie - please contact the retropie people
and not mupen64plus
