It should be possible without issues by:

As shown in the figure, there is only one air conditioner companion in the HA.

If you remove the working one from your configuration are you able to control the second acpartner? I want to make sure both are working fine if sole.

Look at the red circle in the picture, the name in the configuration and the entity ID in the HA; after modifying the configuration name, the entity ID in the HA will not change.

Find the reason, you need to delete the four files in the .storage folder. After restarting HA, it will be normal.
