I've been using the HACS integration: https://github.com/al-one/hass-xiaomi-miot which has support for this fan. Perhaps someone in the team here can look at what they've done there? Thanks.

This HACS integration has support for this fan, but it doesn't support all features like changing the horizontal angle (swing angle), and countdown timer.
