ImageViewer zoom does not work #851

Describe the bug Zoom In button does not affect image current zoom or does not work as expected

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to imageViewer
  2. Click on zoom button
  3. Click and drag until you get a white area (allowed zoom factor)
  4. Image does not zoom in or zooms in with incorrect magnification and position

Expected behavior Image zooms in into the exact selected area
