Desktop environment doesn't show all characters #1215

This is recently more common on my system after suspending the system forcing me to reboot.

The whole desktop environment is corrupt. Distinct applications are working fine.

Nvidia graphics? I think this might be a duplicate of https://github.com/pop-os/nvidia-graphics-drivers/issues/133
