Why/User Benefit/User Problem

As mentioned in other palm rejection issues the current palm rejection seems a bit unfinished and causes issues while typing.

Description of the feature

Instead of palm rejection would it be possible to simply implement a toggle option to disable the touchpad entirely while typing?

This is a feature already included in Gnome
