This has been open for a while, but we still don't have an in-house option from System76, so I guess it's not to late to put in a request.
I'd love to see a high-quality version of the 17" Gazelle (even 16" would be fine). Right now all of the big companies offering high-end laptops with Linux are focused on the small-form-factor, no-dedicated-GPU options. The Dell XPS and Lenovo Dankpad Extreme are finally being offered with bigger screens and GPUs, but only with Windows installed (and no coreboot or other open firmware)
I really want a System76 competitor to these laptops with launch keyboard levels of build quality and polish, especially one that competes with Thinkpad keyboards, XPS infinity screens, and has at least acceptable speakers. I also saw a split spacebar mentioned and think it's an awesome idea.
Additional cool features that would be nice, but aren't must haves:
-Touchscreen
-3k/4k screen
-kill switch for the camera
-keyboard that can survive a drink spill and possibly even save the computer, like the old Thinkpad keyboards that would drain liquids through the bottom of the laptop while it was still running.
