Hardware-wise:

USB-C (several ports) for data, video (DP alt-mode), eGPU (Thunderbolt) and to charge the laptop
M.2 for SSD, Wi-Fi, WWAN
SO-DIMM for RAM

Software-wise:

USB-C charging is my hard requirement for a new laptop (because I can use Volta XL cables for magnetic breakaway support). This would be huge for me.
