[GH-5][GH-6] Update README build instructions + build for thelio-r1 #9

Hi System76!

I took a pass at installing the thelio fan controller for my thelio-r1 and wanted to propose these changes to the README for others attempting to build from source.

I imagine I'll need to revert my change from main.rs but wanted to show a working example if others want to download it.
