We've had a request for this extension to be installed (internally) but can't see how we can if this is still an open issue as anything involved deceased contacts is a hard stop if it can't be relied on. Can someone perhaps clarify?

What I can clarify, is that this is a free open source extension that we have developed for some other clients. Those probably didn't use the is_deceased status in their setup or had other mitigating circumstances.

This issue here will get fixed/resolved if one of two things happen:

  1. somebody creates a working fix (a "pull request"), or
  2. somebody pays us (SYSTOPIA) to create a fix.
