I've tried to pull your tests, but they don't seem to be robust (enough). They all fail on my setup. I assume they would only work on an empty DB...?

Yeah the tests rely on fixtures and a known db state. But CiviCRM's test system provides that automatically. Unless you're running them on 4.6 before the proper testing framework was in place?
