It's not incorrect, it's just another font, more traditional.
In that case i would argue that it's confusing to people learning, especially as all the textual representation uses the newer style
Is something wrong with the input during practice, or is it a bit misleading font issue like discussed? In case it's just a font issue then I agree, it might be a good idea to present various styles when learning new letters or viewing their info
It's a misleading font issue. I originally tried to write り
, but it kept telling me i was wrong, until it showed i was supposed to write what looked like to me the hiragana for "i" い
