Do you have Java runtime installed on your computer? Normally, java.exe is on the PATH if it is installed correctly. And OpenStego should launch without any issue.
@mikelorrey Could you please confirm? I'll wait for few more days before closing this issue.
I don’t recall installing java separately, what version should I use?

Java 11 or above should be fine. If it is just zip file for JDK, then ensure that you add path to java.exe
to your PATH
environment variable.
I've installed the setup file, but it wont start it says I need to define the path to the java install but wont let me do that. Solutions?
