Field objects are not useful here!

Here, there should not be the concepts of grids, derivatives, space operators..., but only the objects defining a fluid entity, e.g. a fluid particle, cell, node...

Start with

ideal fluid object with optionally a multi-specie composition:

• definition in primitive variables:
  • density => scalar real;
  • velocity => scalar vector;
  • pressure => scalar real;
  • for muilti-specie:
  • partial densities => array of reals;
  • specific heats ratio => scalar real;
• definition in conservative variables:
  • density => scalar real;
  • momentum => scalar vector;
  • specific energy => scalar real;
  • for muilti-specie:
  • partial densities => array of reals;
  • specific heats ratio => scalar real;

Supply methods for:

• ideal EOS;
• primitive-to-conservative (and viceversa) conversions;
• compute expansion-state, e.g. rarefaction fan;
• compute shocked-state;
