The AuthorProfile file contains ASIN for print books (I blame goodreads as they seem to be providing these) which means they don't work as links to the Kindle store (no reason they couldn't, it just doesn't work!).
Changing the ASIN to the ASIN for the kindle equivalent works fine - ie. clicking on the other book takes you to the store item for that book.
