What version of DSD are you using? This output doesn't seem to match this version, are you using the DSDPlus fork?

LeonRonin commented 6 years ago

yes i'm using the dsdplus fork. on some other DMR reception I don't get any decoding by dsdplus. I know the signal is DMR. could it be the signal being too strong because the radio is too close?

This github is for DSD and not DSD+ they are different programs. DSD+ is closed source and i believe the only way to contact the developer/s for help is on radioreference forum which already contains a heap of help so you wouldn't need to post anything.

As a person who has used both by looking at the output there doesn't seem like there isn't anything wrong with the decoding, It's probably your audio settings not setup properly. Check your audio settings.

It's been a while since i used SDR for anything but if i can remember correctly SDR# audio source should be set to "VB-Cable In" if you're using VB-Cable, Someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

Even if it's encrypted you would still hear something, If you are hearing encrypted calls then it's working fine. DSD/DSD+ does not crack any encryption it only decodes audio for signals that are unencrypted.

If the radio is too close it will have issues with decoding, But i'm talking like literally next to your computer. If its in an other room it should work fine so long as everything else is setup correctly.

If you are testing with your own radio ask someone to listen while you go in an other room and speak through the radio and see if they can hear you.
