ihs normalization - header #76

Thanks for the excellent resource! It's such a great tool to quickly obtain haplotype-based selection stats.

I just have a simple question regarding the normalization of ihs values. After normalizing you get two extra columns. The first one is the standardized ihs value, but I am not sure what the second one is indicating (it seems to be a 0/1 boolean).

Thanks,

Javier

Hi,

Thanks for your kind words. That column is a Boolean indicating whether the |ihs| is greater than the critical threshold (default 2). I surely had a reason for reporting it in the past, but I’m not certain why that was at the moment. It is pretty redundant information.
