That's ok!:)
You can hide the icon by using right click and the "Quit NoSleep Utility" menu
item.
The "no sleep" behavior will remain until you change it, even if you quit the
utility.

I would also like to say thank you for this utility but I have the opposite
problem. The icon in my menu bar has disappeared and I would really like it
back. For me it is really important to be able to switch the function on and
off really easily so I need the menu bar icon

Ah now I see where I went wrong. I lost the icon because I used a right click
on the icon to quit the app. However I did not have 'start no sleep utilty on
system start up' box checked from within system preferences menu. I suppose
ideally there would be the option to launch the app rather than have to check
the box and re boot. But I understand that it's more of a utlity than an app
and that simplicity is important. So as long as I have no need to quit the
utility then I can live with it! Thanks once again for sharing this
