Impossible to install neither compile on a recent Ubuntu #385

Hi !

It appears the available deb packages and source code is not compatible with a 
recent Linux setup, at least regarding Ubuntu :

- the 0.18.1 deb package has a dependency on libboost-python1.40.0 or 
libboost-python1.42.0, but nowadays, the libboost-python1.53 or 1.54 is 
installed,
- when I try compiling, I get an error about "lTKV2d" that could not be found.

Any ideas ?

Builds under Linux or more precisely Debian and Ubuntu have been recently 
improved.
