Describe the bug
Maxmix will sometimes disconnect randomly and stay disconnected until unplugged and re-plugged in via USB. Also after re-plugging it sometimes will continue to disconnect until unplugged for an extended period of time. This sometimes happens after connecting a new audio device such as a Bluetooth headset.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
(It's hard to reproduce and it's random but this method below sometimes works.)
Turn on computer (Maxmix software starts on boot)
Turn on Bluetooth Headset
Wait until Maxmix disconnects
Try to wake up device, shows LEDs and Maxmix logo and then doesn't connect
Unplug device for 5-10 minutes re-plug and may work or disconnect again after a short period of time.
Expected behavior
Device to remain detected and sleep after a certain amount of time.
System information:
OS version: Windows 10 x64 20H2
Firmware version: 1.4.7
Additional context
I believe this may have to do with the SleepAfterSeconds setting has my device doesn't sleep after 40 seconds it just stays on all the time. Would be great if there is a place where we can look for a log of errors from the desktop software to see if it's a software issue or firmware.
