Question: Multiple cursor in normal/visual mode #1045

Hello,

How does one use the ctrl+d shortcut to select multiple cursors in normal/visual mode? It works in insert mode. What I want is:

Select work with visual mode;
ctrl+d to select multiple instances;
click on "c" or "i" in order to change text or insert text, respectively;

ctrl+d does nothing.

I can't understand what you want. Could you explain using sample original and final text. How original text transformed to final text by XXX keystroke.
