not able to send image with text in whatsapp. #203

i create a news website using php and mysql. In this site i want to share post in social media. I want to share post in whatsapp but when i tap on whatsapp share link it just create a link and show the title of post but not shows the related image. I uesed meta tags in my page but it's not working. what should i do.
