f5.automated_backup.v3.2.0 fails for mount error(95): Operation not supported

The backup fails right away with a mount error. I confirmed that the domain/username/pw are correct and that the share is reachable. Any help would be appreciated. The same setup works on another F5 at a different site. I * out the server info.

@scottgriffel , Are you using the latest iApp (3.2.4)? If not I would start there (import the new template, update the app to point to the new template, then re-check that you have all the fields filled in, and re-run). If that doesn't work, what version of F5/TMOS are you running on this F5 and on the F5 that works? (At some point F5/TMOS quit supporting the mount method used in the original iApp, so the iApp was updated).

Both on 3.2. The one that is working is on BIG-IP 11.5.4 Build 2.0.291 Hotfix HF2 while the one that doesn’t work is BIG-IP 13.1.3.6 Build 0.0.4 Point Release 6.

I will use 3.2.4 and see what happens.

Perfect! I believe the smb/cifs mount changes happened in F5 TMOS v12.x, so that makes sense. Thanks for reaching out! Closing for now...
