Tree View: Click on folder does not show folder contents #53

Hi Gaku Using TE ver. 15.11.8 with Win7(Home Premium) on Toshiba P500

Sometimes I click on a folder in the folder tree and the contents of that folder are not shown in the contents pane. It is possible to produce a similar effect by navigating with the cursor keys - this is the same in Windows Explorer - annoying but acceptable. But clicking on a folder should show the contents in the linked window. Possibly a problem with interpreting the single-click event? My computer is set to open folders with a single-click, but sometimes (not all the time) a double-click is required in TA Tree view. Not critical, but annoying.

Hi there,

using latest version 17.8.1 and experiencing the same problem. But here, nothing but opening in a new tab (right click for context menu ...) works. So the treeview isn't possible to be used at all.

I'm not shure if it has to do with the last version i have installed right now, or the changes of my plugins. I removed addressbar, toolbar, and respective icons on it and changed to inner plugins (addressbar, search, filterm back, forward refresh).

Is there maybe an sort order for the plugins that have to be respected?

Thanks and regards Antonio

Edit: Ok, found out. I wanted eliminate the TreeView Button in the toolbar, as i alway show the treeview, but deactivating that, deactivates also the execution of the treeview itself... ugly behaviour. This should be separated. So that the button can be hidden, but the treeview works.

That could be a factor. You need an add-on "tree view" to use the tree view. Choose "None" at the place to hide the tree button. 3 Thank you,
