Remove Chinese translations from add-on source codes #92

ccfs commented 5 years ago

Reasons:

 1. Although the original design of TE is to put the translated add-on names in add-on source codes (CONFIG.XML), putting all translations in a single language file is simpler and more flexible to translators, and does not need to amend any add-on source code when there is any change.

 2. When “Language” is set to simplified Chinese, some add-on names may unexpectedly be in traditional Chinese. Example:

zh_cn

Although TE has been amended (to version 19.5.3) to eliminate case 2 above, the following problem still exists:

Traditional Chinese translation of "Wildcard selection" is updated as the followings in the language file ZH_HK.XML but it is overridden by the add-on name in CONFIG.XML. <text s="Wildcard Selection">依名稱樣式選取 </text> <text s="Wildcard Select...">依名稱樣式選取...</text> remove Chinese translation2

Therefore to provide the most flexibility with the least human work is NOT to put any translation in add-on CONFIG.XML, but to put all translations in a single language file under TE "lang" folder. Totally no need to amend any other part of TE and add-ons, including the part to handle case 2 above. In addition, this method can co-exist with the method you use for Japanese translation.
