I was playing around with a similar effort to this project earlier this year.

In regards to:

Merge in related repos (prawn-table, pdf-core, etc.)

If you want you could use some of the code from the repo I was working on. https://github.com/prawn-community/prawn_continued

I see that you have placed this under the tablecheck org which is tied to a company. I know that might help advertise your company a little. But I suspect it might be beneficial to the prawn community to move it under its own org ex prawn-community (Happy to pass over the org I've already created if thats the name you want). This would ensure that maintenance can continue outside of any changes to the company.

I think this would a good item to add to the roadmap.

Oh! Was unaware of your project (and it has the same name 🤯)

Please invite me to the org and let's do it! It would be great to have you as a co-maintainer as well if you're interested.

@johnnyshields I invited you to the org and yes I would be happy to co-maintain this with you. I think this is a nice fit for me since I also maintain prawn-rails

Hi folks. I'm interested in getting this gem working for Ruby 3.1.

This present issue is still open and I'm curious to understand what's going on here. (I came here after reading the scintillating discussion in https://github.com/prawnpdf/prawn/issues/1195)

However, I see that https://github.com/prawn-community/prawn_continued is archived. Why is that?

Are there plans here to get a stable release in this repo (or elsewhere)? If so, what is blocking that from happening? If not, can you say more why not? I'm interested to help move this along.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Hi there, I will spend some time next week to get everything setup and get this off the ground. (On a ski trip at the moment!) My apologies for not having gotten it done sooner.
