@gettalong @deanpcmad @petergoldstein @mojavelinux please let me know if you'd like to be involved. Happy to add you even if you are not able to devote bandwidth currently. It's time for prawn to move forward.

@PhilippePerret re: your "Deserted Shrimp" discussion, many of us share your frustration with the current state of Prawn and are looking to continue development here.

PhilippePerret commented 1 year ago

Hi @johnnyshields,

I wouldn't say that I'm frustrated... Prawn is already a very mature gem, and it completely satisfies me in terms of its features, even in its subtlety. In fact, it's more curiosity and incomprehension of not seeing it evolve further.

Anyway, I hope to understand it well enough one day to actively contribute to its evolution, if I have the means.

I created a chat room on keybase (Team: prawnpdf)

I created a chat room on keybase (Team: prawnpdf)

Why keybase?

mathieujobin commented 1 year ago

Why keybase?

Just because I like it, and I don't need to create an account per-server Like Slack, and old chats that becomes unavailable. No crazy ads like Discord.

People can add electronic proof of their identity.

Also, I found enough of the original prawnpdf team have an account already. Maybe they are not actively using it, but at least, I could find them.

@mathieujobin I want to join the conversation on keybase. I've created a keybase account. How can I get access to the group?

You are welcome, the conversation is still non-existent though...

You can join by going in the teams section

Join a team and enter "prawnpdf"

@mathieujobin I think that keybase to too heavy handed this purpose. Keybase does not allow to send messages from a simple web browser, it requires a download and installation. Can we have a simpler chat solution such as gitter which has a web interface?
