Naming of Iris layers. #229

Two issues here:

  1. There is a problem with the name "Experiment". It makes for confusing dialog when trying to describe Experiments and experiments. Nomsane?
  2. Is there a name for the layer above Experiment which includes the Experiment(s) AND the global parameters? A name which describes everything about the experiment (lower case e) but which is not "LPF" (which is a file).

Because Experiment View will no longer be in the publication version of Iris, I'm changing the milestone. We can revisit this question later if we ever implement this.
