Modify notation for the sample numbers displayed for each experiment #266

  1. Remove boxes around the sample numbers since this make them appear to be an input element when they are not.
  2. Consider renaming "Samples" to "Wells in use". Jeff proposed this change, however lucas and I have had fairly in depth discussions on this naming, and "Wells in use" is non-ideal due to the change in configuration when propagating experiments by columns instead of rows.

To elaborate on (2):

As Brian correctly said, we've discussed this extensively, and the suggested name change is not a good idea. Doesn't mean there aren't better names, but any other name/label needs to distinguish between two very different things: (1) the physical wells being used by the experiment in the plate, and (2) the abstract wells (number of wells) and are described by a particular experiment.

I'd say that "Samples" doesn't do a good job of this, but it's better than anything with the word 'wells' in the label.

I think it would be better to only show total wells used instead of a range that we currently show since the range doesn't add any useful information. Thoughts?

We lose some information with that, but I think the simplification that would bring would be well worth it
