Issues with GFTP server using SSL

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect using SSL to GFTP server
2. Upload 1.5 MB file
3. Upload goes to 100%

What is the expected output? 
Uploaded file

What do you see instead?

One possible solution, looks like others had this issue with Python's SSL and 
fixed it:
