Weird! Was this something that happened once, or something that occurred reliably often, and only after installing the extension?
In the meantime, you can enable crash logs by going to settings/privacy, then enabling Automatically send usage statistics and crash reports to Google. Then when you experience a crash you can go to chrome://crashes/ to find the log.
Yup, only after installing the extension and only when snoozing a window. It's happened twice, but not yet since. If it happens again I'll post the crash log in here :)
Cool, thank you!! 🌴
Looks like Chrome doesn't give them to you anymore.
Will a dump from OSX suffice next time it happens?
Chrome crash dump.

That's the latest crash dump. The crash occurs after the browser window has already been snoozed—the window will save, it will close, and then shut down. Upon restoring my session using Chrome's session-restore, it will reopen the window that was snoozed. The window is safely saved, as well.
Following some meatspace chattering with Serena, there doesn't seem to be any correlation between crash rate and the number of items in a slept window. Will see if I can produce a case that presents the issue.
Have either of you seen the issue on platforms other than macOS?
Haven't had any activity on this for about a year, closing
So this is one of those pesky, hard to reproduce ones, so I'll start with some version deets. I'm running 0.0.6 of Tabsleeper and the following Chrome version:
The issue is—seemingly randomly, upon sleeping a window Chrome will crash and I'll need to restore it completely. This doesn't happen all the time, just enough to freak me out and make me trust it a little less.
EDIT: I've tried to reproduce it by closing/reopening various sessions, moving windows between spaces, doing it with specific websites etc, but no luck yet. Do you have error logging so I can dump a log next time it happens?
