Random spikes in Carbon Monoxide Sensor #20

I have been receiving random spikes in my Carbon Monoxide Sensor, this has happened to three different devices and it always occurs when the temperature reporting is above 78 degrees Fahrenheit.

This appears to be a firmware malfunction, is there anything we can do to over sample the API if we receive a high or abnormal reading?
