I was playing with AI art and added 4 relevant images (256x80px) + a black dark room graphic.
Also fixed the game credit so it shows at the start.
I had some fun adding the following AI generated descriptions too, but haven't included them in this version -
Intro - You wake unexpectedly in a long abandoned office. Why your kidnappers took you and what they have in store is something you don't plan to hang around and find out. As you delve deeper into the building, you will encounter locked doors and puzzles that you must solve to escape.
Office - The empty office is eerily quiet and devoid of any human presence, with papers scattered everywhere and outdated equipment gathering dust. The only sound you can hear is the creaking of the floorboards beneath your feet.
Stock Room - The stock room is cluttered and disorganised, with boxes and supplies stacked haphazardly on the shelves.
Dark Room - You find yourself in a dark room, with no source of light to guide you. The air is musty and heavy, making it difficult to breathe. The walls, floor, and ceiling are all invisible, giving the impression of an endless void. You reach out with your hands, trying to feel your way around, but they encounter only emptiness.
Waiting Room - You find yourself in a small, sterile waiting room. The walls are painted a dull beige colour and are adorned with a few bland landscape paintings. The room is furnished with a row of uncomfortable-looking plastic chairs facing a low coffee table strewn with old magazines. The only source of light is a flickering lamp you hold in your hand.
Escape - You twist it and push the door with all your might, grateful to finally see a sliver of light. The door gives way, and you tumble out into the bright sunlight. You shield your eyes, blinking away the afterimages of the dark room, and look around.
You find yourself in a lush, verdant landscape unlike anything you've seen before. A gentle breeze blows, carrying with it the sweet scent of flowers and fresh grass. Birds chirp happily, and small animals scurry about, going about their business. The world is alive with colour and sound, and you feel your spirits lift.
You take a deep breath, savouring the fresh air, and begin to explore. You see a winding river off in the distance and mountains in the far-off horizon. The landscape is vast and untamed, and you feel as though you've been given a second chance.
You walk, taking in the beauty of the world around you. You feel free, unburdened by the darkness and uncertainty of the room you just left behind. You know that you'll never forget that dark, oppressive place, but for now, you're content to revel in your newfound freedom and explore this strange, new world.
