Vacation off failing - 400: failedPrecondition #354

Hi, I was wondering if you could help with this weird one - I'm having an inconsistent issue using gam user <user> vacation off, where 1 specific user seems to get the error below every time.

ERROR: 400: failedPrecondition - Precondition check failed.

There's nothing different about their account that I can see that should impact this and others on the same tenant are working without issue so I'm a bit stumped. Is there any more info on what causes the 'failedPrecondition' error? The service account, domain-wide delegation are all set correctly as other calls are working fine.

Gam v. 6.57.0

For that user, what does this show: gam user @.*** show gmailprofile

I'm in California (PDT) and am generally available starting at 7:30AM PDT, send me a Meet/Zoom invitation and we'll investigate.

6.57.01 now recognizes the error, but we'll still have to Meet to try to figure out what it means.

gam user <user> show gmailprofile returns: User: <user>, historyId: xxxx, messagesTotal: xxxx, threadsTotal: xxxx *with actual figures.

I'm UK based so happy to set something up to demo/discuss next week. I haven't checked this across all users, so not sure how widespread it is but the random handful I've tested all work correctly.
