The GAM tool and Gmail #365

I use the GAM tool to delegate users to gmail delegated mailboxes. I am on GAM version: gamadv-xtd3. Yesterday, I tried to add a list of users to a newly created mailbox. The GAM tool allowed me to add 10 users and when I tried to add the 11th user, I got this message: Failed: Delegator user cannot have any more delegates. I checked with Google support and they told me that they have upped their security posture and now only allow you to add up to 10 users if your using a 3rd party tool such as GAM to add delegates to a mailbox. In the past, I have been able to add up to 25 users to a mailbox using the GAM tool. Is there an upgraded version of the GAM tool available that I can install that deals with this new limitation that Google has imposed?

Rob,

Gam is calling a Google API, the API is applying the limits, not Gam. Have you marked Gam as a trusted app? Maybe the old limitation (25) applies if the 3rd party app is trusted. Ask Google support.

Note that you can add a group as a delegate and then add members to the group. Group members will become delegates without having to confirm, so make sure this works in your scenario.
