Run as service #253

Wouldn't it be nice to have the possibility of running as an OS X service and
have an icon in the
menu bar, as iChat... then, when getting a call, the telephone would start
automatically.

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about that, but haven’t decided yet.

I was thinking about it, and I think I didn't explain clearly the idea: that
wouldn't be good if run as system
service, because sometimes a computer has more than one user and users normally
have different phone lines.
However, it would be great to have Telephone run at startup and connected
without starting the GUI, but just a
service that starts the GUI when a call rings, as iChat does.
Anyhow, I'll be glad to help !

Yes, that’s exactly the way I have in mind.

This sounds a lot like #73. Might be beneficial to merge the tickets.
