Hi there

We have just acquired our first IP PBX and we are loving it, especially while
using Telephone.
But i request for 2 features:-

1. Would it be possible to have a Call Log?
We could maybe access it by clicking on Window in the menu bar and through the
dock icon.

2. Its awesome that Telephone is able have communicate with Address Book, but
when there is an in-bound call, it display the number instead of the Contact
name although the contact is saved in the Address Book.

What are the chances of getting these features?

Thanks again

There's issue 58 for the call log.

Please give me an example with the number from the call window and the
corresponding number from the address book. Telephone does Address Book lookup,
maybe we should just adjust minimum number length.

If phone numbers you receive are only 7 digits long, you can tell Telephone to
use only last 7 digits during the lookup. By default it uses 10 digits.

Quit Telephone, open Terminal and run:
defaults write com.tlphn.Telephone SignificantPhoneNumberLength -integer 7

Yes, I saw your email. I'll write you a reply as soon as I get to that letter
while emptying my inbox. :)

HI Again...

Tried changing the pref file from 10 to 7, but i still get the same result...

In address book, the number are formatted as such, +2301234567... but when i
receive a local call, it only shows the actual number without the country code.

Hi eofster

Sorry to worry you again.

From what i understand, it should actually be able to identify the inboud calls
using my numbers in Address Book by default?
If its not working on my system, this is because it related to my system only
or is it a bug?

I am running 10.6.4

Regards
