Works fine for outgoing calls, issue only occurs for incoming calls.

I performed further testing to ensure the PBX / SIP Proxy was not the cause.
Using Bria 3 on the same machine works. I can perform attended transfer and
callee and remote party can hear each other fine.

I do use Asterisk, but Bria is not causing any issue. Telephone has the exact
same symptom though.

Hi,
I have the same exact problem.
Here is what I did :
Make a call to Telephone.app
Pick up on Telephone.app
Use Telephone.app to transfer the call to another number, wait until pick up
before validating call transfer.
Called party don't hear the transferee but hear the Music on Hold.
Nothing more.
My SIP provider is OVH (in France) -> http://www.ovh.com/fr/telephonie/
Is there a solution ?

Well, I am now patiently waiting for a motivated soul to fork this and get it
fixed...
Ca ne repond que quand c'est interesse par ici!
A bit of a shame, because I actually like the soft very much.

Have you set Proxy in the account settings?

Tried with and without proxy. The issue is not consistent. It occasionally
works once. Never managed to get it work twice in a row.
Thanks for following up.

Is DNS SRV enabled?
Original comment by eofs...@gmail.com

I cannot see any configuration in Telephone.App regarding DNS SRV.
I tested both scenarios, connecting to our switches with a DNS SRV enabled
domain name and just an A record... It does not solve anything.

It's in Telephone's Preferences > Network.

Tried both with and without SRV with two separate domain names with and without
SRV.
Is this relevant?
It does not work

same here with sipgate.de as a provider.
call to the transfer target is made but initial caller will not be connected.
alsways ends up picking up the initial caller as the only option.

Hello.. same problem here. What is the fix?

same here... after one year this was first mentioned. Any chance this will be
solved in near future? I love telephone.app - but without the possibility to
transfer a call, it is impossible to use in our company environment.

Dev has moved the project there it seems.
