can't get most gestures working #232

I'm running Kubuntu 12.04.4 and with the latest build of touchegg, I can get
Firefox to scroll with two fingers on my touch-screen (Thinkpad Twist), but
other gestures like double-tap, pinch, tap-and-hold, all these I tried. I
wanted especially to get alternate mouse-clicks with tap-and-hold. None of
these were successful. Neither could I get the scroll motion to work in other
programs.

Actually, maybe related, I just found a further bug. I tap something and if I
do nothing else, it will start repeating. For example, tap the onscreen virtual
keyboard, and then sometimes it sits there and then starts repeating the key
over and over.

By the way, I did not install utouch, as it wasn't mentioned in the
instructions.

I started with an empty config file and set just the specific motions I wanted,
just scrolling and nothing else at first. It's still functioning oddly and
inconsistently.

Hi @WolfTune

I recommend you to use the latest Touchégg version from the SVN:
https://code.google.com/p/touchegg/source/checkout

I have to say that Touchégg is only tested for my using a trackpad, mainly
because I haven't got a touchscreen, and I don't know if it is going to work
properly,

Please, also check if your device is supported:

too bad it is not tested on touchscreen, because I'm in the exact same
situation as wolftune.
